Truths and Answers, {I’m sure we all knew that’s what that stood for, right?} is an interview I conducted with myself answering the most asked questions in my mind. Kidding! I get a few repeat questions asked by fabulous people so I decided to dedicate a page to the answers. In addition, I also added some truths, like favorite movies & songs; I don’t get bombarded with people asking me about those… I don’t get bombarded at all actually… I mean I do… all the time, she says convincingly.
All right, I’ll start with the most commonly asked questions first
Q: Where did you get your dress?
A: I have an addiction to online shopping & about 80% of my dresses come from Modcloth; the rest of my clothes are a mixture of Target, thrift stores, Forever 21, Nordstrom’s Jr. department, my mom’s old clothes {the ones I can fit in}, Old Navy, & Unique Vintage.
Q: Where did you get your shoes?
A: I’ve stated elsewhere that I’m the daughter of a Jewish Man, and he fits 1 of the stereotypes; he likes burnt toast. Okay, two of the stereotypes. Since I can’t drop the Benjamins {I can barely drop the Washingtons} I like to shop where I can use coupon codes: Charlotte Russe, Urbon Og, & Agaci. I also like DSW, Aldo, the Outlet Mall, Hand me downs, & thrift stores.
Q: Where did you get your purse?
A: If you’re referring to my Kate Spades, those are from the Hubs… He knows I won’t spend that on myself {thanks Bubeleh!}. All the others are from *drum roll* Target, Forever 21, & Aldo.
Q: What type of makeup do you use?
A: I’m a huge spokeswoman for Sheer Cover, I LOVE their mineral powder. My eye shadows are Bed Head or MAC, my bronzer is Sheer Cover’s Mocha, my blush is NARS’ orgasm, & my lipsticks are either Vincent Longo’s or NARS. I’ve been known to throw on a Channel bronzer for special occasions. I sometime use Makeup Forever’s HD Foundation but I’m currently on a mission to find a replacement.
Q: Are those your real lashes?
A: My lashes are really mine, because I bought them and applied them myself! I use Ardell numbers 118, 203, & 205. I purchase mine from Sally’s Beauty, HEB {my local grocery store}, or Target.
Q: What program do you use to create your cartoons?
A: Believe it or not… Power point!
Q: What type of Camera do you use?
A: Canon Rebel, but I will upgrade from the Rebel series soon {thanks to my teacher, Chelsea} *Note: I am not a great photographer, one of goals is to one day become excellent at my hobby
